Arsenal's Curse of the Last 16

Arsenal are out of the champions league in the round of 16 for the last 5 years.

Arsenal paid the price for lazy performance in the first Leg. They were very poor in the first leg played at the Emirates Stadium.Last minute goal which was conceded proved costly. Its very difficult for any team for a come back after a 3-1 loss. This leaves us with the question of Arsenals inability to win games that matters.

What can Arsenal do to get over this. Firstly the loose mentality of players has to change.
There has to an urge which is not currently seen regularly and only seen in crisis situation .
Arsenal has to revamp the back 4 and bring in a strong and  commanding midfielder like Vieira.

Its time for arsenal to find a replacement for Mertesacker .Not ignoring his contributions to the Arsenal team. But its time for Arsenal to move over to a more dynamic central defender. Also If they believe as a team they could at least finish second in the premier league considering the current slump of Manchester City.

Arsenal Just worth a Champions League Place Each Year

Arsenal regularly qualify for the champions league group stages each year. But that's the end each year. They are struggling compete with top European clubs. The only silver lining is the runner up trophy in 2006.Each year either they get Barcelona, Bayern or Milan or they play so poor as they did against Monaco at home and make sure that they are out of champions league at the earliest. But still you cannot stay away because you love Arsenal with Heart not the Brain. The question we ask is that do we all support this club for this top four premier league finish or a champions league place. The answer is a BIG NO and not onl...

Arsenal VS West Brom Saturday, 21 November, 8:30 PM IST

Arsenal face West Brom on Saturday evening Indian time. Arsenal would try to continue where they left  but try to improve on the performance against arch rivals Tottenham. Considering the chances Gunners  had in front of goal ,would have hoped to collect all three points .But the fact they came back from behind and saved a point should help with the confidence. Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud are deeply affected by the happenings in Paris and Wenger says he will play them only after assessing the situation after speaking to both of them. Bllerin is expected to be back after missing the match against Tottenham.
